THE K7 ACADEMY EXPERIENCE, IN THE WORDS OF OUR STUDENTS!
WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAYS
“Clear, practical and interesting — I was analyzing real suspicious files.”
I learned a lot about malware — viruses, worms, keyloggers and their characteristics. Using Regshot, FakeNet, VirusTotal, Process Explorer, Process Monitor, CFF Explorer and CyberChef, I was able to analyze suspicious files and identify their background activities. We covered both static and dynamic analysis methodologies, guided by Sathiyan Sir. It gave me a wonderful glimpse into cybersecurity and deepened my understanding of it at the same time.
“I came away with a strong foundation in malware research, and a deeper interest in the field.”
I now understand real-world threats and how they are actually analyzed, rather than just how they’re described. Even the most complex concepts were made accessible, and Sathiyan’s patience with our questions kept the learning smooth and engaging throughout. I look forward to applying this experience going forward.
“It helped me bridge the gap between theory and practical application.”
I learned static and dynamic analysis, and developed a much deeper analytical approach to identifying threats. My technical skills and problem-solving improved a lot. Difficult topics were made easier to understand, and Sathiyan Sir explained both our flaws and our positives, so we could work with confidence whether we were right or wrong. Very thankful, Sir.
“It improved my technical knowledge and strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills.”
I got valuable exposure to malware analysis and understood the analysis techniques properly, not just theoretically. Doubts were clarified at any time, which made the learning comfortable. It has been a highly enriching experience, and I would be glad to continue my career with K7 in the future.
“Registry finding and malware analysis — the sessions make the concepts clear.”
I am gaining lots of new knowledge, and the sessions are genuinely useful. My doubts are cleared every time, so nothing carries over unresolved. Overall I am improving my skills and finding this experience very helpful.
